Parents of students who attend choice schools are responsible for transporting their child to the school if it is not in their neighborhood. The Lake Washington School District offers a shuttle-bus service for students attending a choice school which is outside of their neighborhood. Parents can apply for the ICS Shuttle in June for a fee of $375 for 2023-2024 to the district Transportation office. Some families choose to carpool with other ICS students. Please contact the ICS PTSA for further information.  Additionally, many students take advantage of the Metro bus system for transportation. Students can apply for a Metro pass through the LWSD Transportation office, or to get details on obtaining an ORCA card to use Metro and other public transit options around the area, visit https://www.lwsd.org/programs-and-services/transportation/orca-card.
